This farmhouse is conceived as a composition of defined boundaries that shape experience rather than enclose it. Set across a long stretch of land, the design draws strength from clarity in line and form, allowing edges to guide movement and vision from dawn to dusk. The landscape speaks the same language as the architecture, where walls extend into greenery, views are carefully framed, and nature is gently woven into the built environment. Rooted in Vastu principles, the farmhouse finds its center in a circular court, embodying balance, calm, and continuity while reinforcing the idea of architecture, interior, and landscape as a single, unified expression.

Four defining walls organize the farmhouse into formal, informal, and private spaces, with varying heights shaping the character and experience of each zone. At the heart lies a circular courtyard that holds light and sky, its stepped flooring inspired by traditional baolis and crafted entirely in brick, creating a sense of depth, memory, and tactile warmth. Curved brick ceilings further soften the geometry and enhance spatial flow, while minimal interiors allow light to animate the spaces throughout the day. Trees align with architectural edges, extending walls into green planes and dissolving boundaries between built and organic. Architecture, interior, and landscape are seamlessly entwined—each reinforcing the other—resulting in a farmhouse where form, material, and nature exist in quiet harmony.
