Bodhi Escapes is imagined as a retreat where the vastness of the sky becomes part of the stay. Drawing inspiration from astronomy, the experience is shaped around a series of domes named after planets, each framing uninterrupted views of the Kumbhalgarh hills and the distant fort. The idea was to move beyond conventional hospitality and create moments—of stillness, of gathering, of celebration—where guests can observe the landscape, the shifting light, and the night sky. From quiet stargazing to lively evenings at the client-named Chuski Bar, the retreat offers a balance between contemplation and social interaction.

The site is organized through a fluid landscape, with lightweight monochrome domes placed carefully to capture panoramic views in every direction. A central waterbody anchors the layout, reflecting the domes and sky while guiding movement across the site. Informal gathering areas and a small amphitheater are woven into the terrain, allowing for stand-up performances, skits, and seasonal festivities. The restaurant is positioned alongside a feature waterbody, while the pool overlooks the valley, extending the experience into the horizon. Together, architecture, landscape, and water create a seamless environment that offers an immersive, open-ended escape—one that feels expansive, playful, and deeply connected to its setting.
