The landscape at The Nest is imagined as a journey rather than a single open space. A strong spine runs across the ground level COP, guiding movement and connecting different activity zones like chapters in a story. The concept evolves as an “Empirical Juncture,” where intersecting lines symbolically trace the passage of time, much like the numerical way of counting days. Each junction along this path opens into a distinct experience—beginning with leisure pockets, moving into gathering spaces, expanding into an active recreation ground, and finally reaching a quiet Golden Agers’ Park. Circular lawns, layered greens, and water features shape the rhythm of the space, while a diagonal axis ties the entrance, central lawn, and recreation zones into one clear, connected composition. The idea is to let movement naturally lead residents through different moods of the landscape while keeping the community visually and physically connected.

On the ground floor, stepped seating, shaded decks, cascading water edges, and tree-lined buffers create spaces that feel open yet comfortable. Each experiential junction is supported by landscape elements that define its character—from relaxed seating areas to lively activity courts and calm resting pockets. The planting is arranged to provide enclosure without blocking views, ensuring the courtyard always feels visually connected. Above, the terrace becomes a garden in the sky. Pergolas, planter edges, and small seating corners transform the rooftop into a social extension of the landscape below. It offers places to sit, talk, pause, and look out over the central greens. Together, the COP and terrace form a layered living environment where movement, pause, and community life unfold naturally within greenery and light.
