Project Brief
The concept for ‘river of life’ originates from the flow of life, how one goes through different ups and downs in each phase of life and like water life goes on irrespective of the smooth or tough situations. Comparing the same process with water, the solvent flows freely irrespective of the rough or smooth textures of it’s adjacent surfaces. This philosophy typically drives the evolution of the design of this thoughtful installation.
In the heart of the commercial block, Mondeal retail park; the river of life uplifts the mood by its continuous flow of water and the music curated by the set up. The materials are carved out of marble plates, on each level a varied texture is designated which makes the water change its path and serves as a pathway.
