Project Brief
Saad which means ‘Call for art’ itself defines the space right. This place is an exhibition and display gallery space designed with very earthly design and materials, with a purpose to provide a platform for all to exhibit their talents. Saad brings a very soothing, simplistic and serene interior for the visitors. The arched shape ceiling with circular ac chambers and wooden bars makes it standout in the whole space.
There are hooks attached on the wooden bars with an idea to do some physical activities like rope hanging, etc. The same wooden bars also have cove and track lights put to it. Track lights have direct focus on the walls to highlight the art. A human statue is placed on one side wall depicting the continuous movement of people.
The colour palette in gallery is kept very minimalistic to keep the art and paintings as main focus. A small kitchen area is casketed in the middle with a purpose, if there is any get-together or parties hosted than food can be catered from the same. The kitchen is covered with jali partition wall when not in use. Finally there are two huge glass doors opening in the terrace area designed with seating and landscape.
