concept
The landscape is conceived as a celebration ground that draws inspiration from the cultural essence of Gujarat, where light and color symbolize joy, divinity, and collective energy. The narrative centers on “celebrating life,” translating festive spirit into spatial experience. Light becomes both metaphor and material, shaping gathering spaces that receive and distribute joy. The landscape is envisioned as a unified composition, integrating architecture, open grounds, and planting into a cohesive and healthy establishment that feels vibrant throughout the seasons.
design
The design layers feature elements to create memorable arrival and gathering moments. A recessed entrance wall with lippan work establishes a strong visual identity. Central feature elements and patterned flooring anchor the main congregation zone, while textured cottage walls with wooden doors add warmth and intimacy. Colonnades with niche walls and water features introduce rhythm and depth, with alternate options of ghat like steps interacting with patterned water bodies. Oval mounds, tree edged boundaries, colored textured walls, and sculptural metal inserts strengthen the festive language. The planting is chosen to keep the place alive through the year. Flowering trees take turns to bloom, shrubs fill the lower layers with texture, and grass sway with every passing breeze. Together, they bring changing colors and gentle movement across seasons, so the landscape never feels still or flat, but always ready for celebration.
